The Khao Manee, which translates to White Jewel, is a breed of all-white cats native to Thailand. Also known as the Diamond Cat, they are featured in the Tamra Maew, an ancient book of Siamese Cat poems. Although a long-lived and well established breed, they were only recognized by TICA (The International Cat Association) in May 2009.
