Bichon Frise

The Bichon Frise is a French breed. The name literally means "curly haired dog" and boy is it one! In addition to being cute and lovable, Bichons have become popular family pets because of their low-shed coat which reduces the amount of dander that can cause allergies. This coat has drawbacks, however. Because it doesn't shed as easily, it needs regular grooming to keep that fluffy white texture.
