Biewer Terrier

You might say these German terrier dogs look like weird colored Yorkies... well, that's exactly what they are! The Biewer Terrier began with Yorkshire Terrier puppies demonstrating the recessive Peibald gene. The name comes from Werner and Gertrude Biewer who bred these tricolor terriers in their kennel in 1984. Since then, the breed has grown in popularity thanks to their affectionate personalities and lively, friendly natures.
