Bombay

"Bombay" is the name given to black cats of the Asian group. Genetically, they are mostly Burmese cats but in 1958, a woman named Nikki Horner in Louisville Kentucky started crossbreeding black American Shorthair to create a "pantherlike" appeal. These cats are known for their sleek coats and bright orange eyes.
