Brocco Italiano

The Brocco Italiano is an Italian hunting dog known for its skill as a pointer and its signature long-legged gait. It's believed to be the oldest pointer in Europe with lines reaching all the way back to Medieval times. Although it was the first breed to be registered to the Kennel Club Italiano back in 1882, it wasn't inducted to the American Kennel Club until 2022, therefore making it both one of the oldest and newest recognized breeds.
