Chartreux
|
A French breed known for their blue coat. They're great hunters and prized by farmers for keeping vermin out of their barns. The breed is rare, but also very long lived. The first Chartreux in written record is found in a poem by Joachim du Belley in 1558. They are also the mascot of the Montreal Jazz Festival.
