Exotic Shorthair

The Exotic Shorthair is essentially a short-haired Persian cat as seen by their short noses and wide round eyes. They were first bred in the 1950s by crossing Persians with American Shorthair cats and recognized as their own breed in 1966 when a Cat Fancier's Association judge named Jane Martinke identified them as the name we know today.
