Havana Brown Cat
Contrary to common assumptions, the Havana Brown has nothing to do with Havana the city. The breed was crafted in the UK in the 1950s by breeding black shorthair cats with Siamese cats. The resulting cat is a sleek short-haired cat with a brown coat, brown nose, and brown whiskers! As to why it's called "Havana," fanciers say it is because the brown is similar to the color of a cigar... such as the famous high-quality cigars from Cuba.
