Kuvasz
The Kuvasz is a herding breed from Hungary known for it's agility, grace, and luxurious snow-white coat. A companion of kings, this breed dates back to the middle ages with ties to ancient Turkey and Tibet guarding livestock with patience and valor. Hungarian King Matthias I respected the breed so much, he counted his Kuvasz more trustworthy than his palace guards for protection against traitors. The plural of Kuvasz is Kuvaszok pronounced coo-va-sock (the singular is pronounced coo-vass) and comes from a misspelling of the word turkish word "Kawasz" which means "armed guard"
