Russell Terrier

The Russell Terrier, the Parson Russell Terrier, and the Jack Russell Terrier all share an origin with Rev. John "Jack" Russell, aka The Hunting Parson. He tailored these fox hunting dogs for his own use. Over time, the breed splintered into separate registrations. The Russell Terrier is shorter than its brother breeds with both smooth and rough coated varieties.
