Siberian Husky

Siberian Huskies are sled dogs from the icy northern reaches. They are of the spitz family, bred by the Chukchi people of Siberia. They were introduced to Nome Alaska during the gold rush where they were bred with local dogs to create the Alaskan Husky. Nowadays, Siberian Huskies are mostly bred for house pets, but still pull sleds competitively.
