The Siberian is a very old breed of cat. Originally known as Russian's native forest cat, the official name of the breed is often still Siberian Forest Cat. They are sought after for their luxurious coats, which while they are ample actually produce less of the most potent allergens than other cats, making them good choices for owners with certain allergies!
