Somali

The Somali cat is essentially a long-haired Abyssinian cat, having inherited two copies of the long-haired gene along with the Abyssinian's rusty coat colors. For this reason, cat enthusiasts were split on whether it was a desirable trait or not. They've earned the nickname "Fox Cat" thanks to their pointed ears, ruddy color, and long fluffy tails.
