Sugar Glider

Sugar Gliders are tree-dwelling possums from Australia and Indonesia. They sail through the air with "wings" made of extra skin much like a flying squirrel, but the two species aren't related! These little nocturnal, omnivorous friends are kept as pets in many parts of the world, although the owning of them in Australia is illegal due to laws about conserving native Australian species.
